Sonia Lise Longchamp, ASID brings over 30 years experience in residential and commercial design, including space planning and furniture design. Her strong ability to interpret architectural plans, elevations and details adds an extra dimension to a design sense that successfully translates her clients’ unique requirements into reality.
President and Owner, Sonia specializes in high-end residential design, hospitality, office and yacht design, as well as turnkey installations. In addition to the ability to create pleasing and functional designs for her clients, Sonia’s business sense enables her to establish realistic budgets for private clients and builders as well as meet critical project timeline requirements.
In addition to working with private clients, Sonia is sought after by area builders and Realtors to design spec homes. Her work on high-end oceanfront and waterfront estates is unparalleled as are her designs in some of South Florida’s most prominent club communities. The recipient of many awards, including the Distinguished Service Award, presented by ASID Florida South Chapter, and the ASID Chapter Medalist Award (the highest honor a Chapter can bestow on a member). Canadian born and fluent in both French and English, following school Sonia went on to hone her design and drafting skills with leading Engineering and Architectural firms before becoming a Senior Designer for prestigious South Florida Interior Design firms and founding her namesake firm in the early 90’s. As a professional member of ASID since 1990, Sonia has given countless hours to the organization, as both an elected official and an extremely active committee chairman.
